E! viewers are about to spend the next several weeks getting to know WWE’s Daniel Bryan. On Total Bellas, the new WWE reality series, Bryan and his wife, Brie Bella, will be living under one roof with John Cena and Nikki Bella. Exactly how much money are Bryan and his wife raking in? What is his net worth and yearly salary?

According to The Richest, Daniel Bryan’s net worth is $2 million. His wife’s net worth is $1.7 million, bringing their combined net worth to $3.7 million.

In terms of salary, Bryan reportedly makes $700,000 per year with the WWE. This number was last updated in February 2016, so it’s unclear at this time whether Bryan’s contract was altered when he retired from wrestling and made the switch to managing SmackDown Live. In 2012, The Richest reported that his salary was $620,000. For comparison, John Cena makes $2.75 million per year, and his net worth is $35 million.

Daniel Bryan joined World Wrestling Federation in 2000, wrestling under a persona known as “American Dragon.” After being released from his contract, he went over to Japan, joined Ring of Honor, wrestled in the independent circuit, and eventually returned to the WWE in 2009. He developed a following over the years and by 2013 was being praised as one of the best performers in the company. The “Yes!” movement all lead up to Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX.

But unfortunately, Bryan was forced to announce his retirement in February 2016. He had experienced a variety of medical issues including 10 concussions throughout his time with the WWE. Luckily, he returned in July when he was announced as the general manager of SmackDown Live, working alongside Shane McMahon. He also cohosts Talking Smack, the SmackDown Live aftershow on the WWE Network. A possible return to the ring for him has been teased, but it’s generally seen as a very bad idea considering the damage Bryan has done to his body.

Bryan has also made some money from other ventures outside of wrestling, including his book, Yes: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania, which was published in 2015. He also recorded an indie rock single with Kimya Dawson in 2011.

E! viewers got to see some of Daniel Bryan’s relationship with Brie Bella on Total Divas, but they’ll get a much better glimpse into the couple’s life on Total Bellas, which airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on E!
