Florida and Georgia battle this afternoon in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. According to OddsShark, Florida enters the rivalry matchup as a 7 point favorite.
The over-under is set at 43 points. Georgia is 2-4 against the spread this season while Florida is 2-4 against the spread this year.
The OddsShark computer is projecting as close of a contest as you can get. The computer projects a narrow 25.8-25.4 Gators victory.
The S&P+ projections are bit more bullish on the Gators. The S&P+ computers project a 34.1-12.3 Florida victory.
Florida is coming off their best game of the season after a 40-14 victory over Missouri. Georgia is reeling and has lost three out of their last four games.
That said, it would be shocking if this game is not close. It is a rivalry game that consistently is decided in the fourth quarter. Look for the Gators to win in a game closer than Vegas expects.
