Wednesday’s NBA preseason schedule gets going bright and early stateside, with the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans playing in Beijing with the game starting at 7:30 a.m. Eastern time. This is the second of two games for the teams in China, with the first being a 123-117 Rockets victory in Shanghai on Sunday. Three starters scored at least 21 points for Houston, led by James Harden (26 points, 15 assists) with new additions Eric Gordon (24 points) and Ryan Anderson (21 points) being the others.

Among those who played well in that game for the Pelicans were guard E’Twaun Moore, who scored a team-best 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field, and forward Anthony Davis who finished with 23. The production of perimeter options such as Moore, Langston Galloway, Tim Frazier and rookie Buddy Hield will be something to keep an eye on when it comes to New Orleans, as they’ll be without both Jrue Holiday (wife’s illness) and Tyreke Evans (knee) when the regular season begins.

In total there are five games on the NBA preseason schedule for Wednesday, including the Spurs visiting the Magic and Indiana taking on Milwaukee in Evansville, Indiana. Below are the tip times and television listings for each of the games, and all times are Eastern.
