Both teams are coming off completely different weeks. Georgia got crushed on the road against Ole Miss while Tennessee finally broke its losing streak to Florida. The Vols have lost four straight games to Georgia in this series.

Tennessee has struggled with consistency all season, but the Vols second half comeback against Florida may be the shot of confidence Tennessee needed. Georgia is starting freshman quarterback Jacob Eason. Eason was one of the best recruits in the country but faces a challenging Tennessee defense with a number of playmakers who can get to the quarterback.

Georgia received bad news heading into the game as star running back Nick Chubb will not be able to play in today’s game. It is a huge blow for an offense that relies heavily on its running game. The S&P+ computer projects a double-digit Tennessee win today over Georgia.

While it has been hard to trust Tennessee this season, all signs point to the Vols winning today’s game as they continue to ride the momentum of last week’s comeback.

Heavy’s Pick: Tennessee 31 Georgia 23. Tennessee -4. Over on the Point Total.
