One night removed from his third triple-double of the season, a 41-point, 12-rebound, 16-assist output in a 119-117 loss to Orlando, Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook is back in action as the Thunder visit the Detroit Pistons
. What makes Sunday's stat line all the more impressive for Westbrook is that he had just two turnovers, resulting in a FanDuel point total of 77.4 which is a season high for him. Monday Westbrook ($11,600) is one of three players with FanDuel salary cap numbers above $11,000, with Houston guard James Harden ($11,700) and New Orleans forward Anthony Davis ($11,500) being the others.
And with seven of FanDuel's nine most expensive point guards either ruled out or a game-time decision, using a large amount of one's salary cap to sign a Westbrook may be something more FanDuel players consider. That doesn't necessarily mean that Westbrook is the only high-level point guard option, with Clippers floor general Chris Paul ($9,000) also with an advantageous matchup as he faces the Nets
, but it may be hard to pass up the chance to grab Westbrook as he goes up against Detroit's Ish Smith.
