Louisville goes on the road to take on Houston in a Thursday night primetime matchup. According to OddsShark, Louisville enters the game as a 14.5 point favorite.

The over-under is set at 68.5 points. The OddsShark computer is bullish on the Cardinals chances of not only picking up the road victory but covering the spread. The computer projects a 47-29.4 Louisville victory. The computer is taking Louisville to cover the the spread and the over on the point total.

Louisville has been solid against the spread so far this season at 6-4 while Houston has struggled at 4-6.

Heavy is more optimistic about Houston’s chances. Louisville has had a habit of letting teams hang around.

The Cougars have the benefit of hosting this game, and it is also the biggest game left on their schedule. We have seen Houston rise to the occasion in big games as their upset of Oklahoma showed earlier this season.

The Cardinals are led by the most dynamic football player in the country in quarterback Lamar Jackson. Jackson has a good chance of winning the Heisman Trophy and has been a big reason for Louisville’s success this season. Jackson will keep Louisville from losing, but we like Houston’s chances of hanging around for the majority of the game.

Heavy’s Pick: Louisville 34 Houston 27. Houston +14.5. Under on the Point Total.
