The much-anticipated battle between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg is just days away, with the iconic wrestlers going head-to-head at WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view this Sunday. Now we’re beginning to hear some major spoilers about who is expected to win the match.

Cageside Seats is reporting that Brock Lesnar will defeat Goldberg at Survivor Series, but that Goldberg will be given a big sendoff during the match. This is just a rumor, and it’s hardly confirmed, so the information should be taken with a grain of salt.

If true, though, this is definitely a result that will surprise and possibly anger a lot of WWE fans who are rooting for Goldberg to score one last victory. Goldberg has not wrestled in the WWE for 12 years, with his most recent appearance being at WrestleMania XX in 2004. Goldberg faced Brock Lesnar in a match at that pay-per-view, and he was able to beat Lesnar, executing a Jackhammer for the win. Lesnar proceed to give the middle finger to the audience. That WrestleMania XX match was also Brock Lesnar’s last until 2012, when he returned to Monday Night Raw as a heel.

Last month, Goldberg said in an interview with ESPN that he feels he has some unfinished business with Brock Lesnar and that this is who he’d like to face if he ever were to make a return. That kicked off a storyline where Paul Heyman challenged Goldberg to fight Brock Lesnar, and Goldberg accepted, saying that he feels has has one match left in him. He also wanted his son to be able to see him perform live. However, Goldberg made it clear that this would be his final match ever, telling Brock Lesnar, “you’re last!”

Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar’s most recent match was at SummerSlam back in August. Lesnar faced Randy Orton, with Orton having just recently returned for injury. For weeks, the WWE hyped up the fight, with Orton saying that he was finally going to be the one to take down The Beast. But to the fans’ disappointment, Lesnar easily defeated Orton at SummerSlam; the fight ended much sooner than expected and with Orton in a pool of blood with a giant gash on his head. It looks like at Survivor Series, Lesnar way once again brutally destroy a fan favorite superstar, only this time, it will be that superstar’s last match of all time.

Survivor Series will air on Sunday, November 20th on the WWE Network. In addition to the Goldberg and Lesnar match, there will also be matches between Raw and SmackDown superstars, with the athletes divided into male, female and tag team groups. The first match is Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins versus AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and Shane McMahon. The next is Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Nia Jax, Alicia Fox, and Sasha Banks versus  Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella. Finally, there’s The New Day, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Sheamus and Cesaro, Enzo Amore and Big Cass and The Shining Stars versus Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros, American Alpha, The Usos and Breezango.
