As the college football regular season comes to a close, the attention starts to move towards the upcoming bowls. Washington became the first Power Five team to win their conference and will wait to see if their victory is enough to send them to the College Football Playoff.

Heavy’s projections have them as the third seed. With Ohio State likely being the only team in the College Football Playoff without a conference championship, we have them at the fourth position squaring off with top seeded Alabama. This season, the College Football Playoff bowls are the Peach and Fiesta Bowls.

As the conference championships become final, these predictions will continue to be updated based on the results.

There are a couple conferences that will not have enough bowl eligible teams to fill their normal tie-ins. According to CBS Sports, the top five-win teams based on APR (the tiebreaker) are North Texas, Mississippi State, Texas and Northern Illinois. These teams are likely to have the first shot to fill these openings.

Continue to check back throughout the weekend as the bowl picture becomes clearer. Teams in bold have already accepted the bowl invitation.
