The Denver Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs on a Christmas edition of Sunday Night Football. According to OddsShark, the Chiefs enter the contest as a three point favorite.
The over-under is set at 37 points. The Broncos are 8-6 against the spread this season while the Chiefs are 7-7.
The OddsShark computer likes the Chiefs to come away with the win at home. The computer projects a 28.4-16.2 Chiefs victory. The computer is taking the Chiefs to cover the spread and the over on the point total.
The Chiefs won their earlier Week 12 matchup 30-27 on a last second field goal in overtime. Since that loss, the Broncos have gone just 1-2 while the Chiefs have gone 2-1.
The Denver offense has scored a combined 13 points in their last two games and have been unable to match the play of their stellar defense.
Both teams are fighting for different things. Kansas City still has a chance to win the AFC West and secure the second seed in the AFC that would give the Chiefs a first round bye. Denver needs to win out and have help to have a chance at making the playoffs.
Like the computer, Heavy likes the Chiefs to come up with the home victory. The play of the Broncos has dropped since the last time these two teams played. Look for the Chiefs defense to pounce on a weak Broncos offense as they give the fans at Arrowhead a Christmas victory.
