The New York Giants take on the Detroit Lions in a battle featuring two of the best teams in the NFC. According to OddsShark, the Giants enter the matchup as a 3.5 point favorite.
The over-under is set at 40 points. Detroit has been solid against the spread this season coming into today’s contest at 8-5. New York has not fared as well against Vegas at 6-5-2.
The OddsShark computer likes the Giants chances of taking care of business at home. The computer projects a 25.2-14.8 New York victory. The computer is taking the Giants to cover the spread.
The Giants have won seven of their last eight games including a big win last week against the Cowboys. Detroit has won five straight games and come into this matchup leading the NFC North.
While the Lions are riding a hot streak, it is difficult to go with Detroit as quarterback Matthew Stafford is batting a hand injury. He will be throwing with a glove in what will likely be cold and wet conditions in East Rutherford.
