Speaking of the aforementioned matchup between the Warriors and Nets, Kilpatrick may be worth the risk despite Golden State being ranked second in the NBA in defensive rating (103.2). The Warriors are 15th in points allowed per game, which has more to do with the tempo at which they play (third in pace) than any "failings" on the defensive end of the floor. Averaging 15.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game on the season, Kilpatrick does enter tonight's game having scored a total of 15 points on 5-for-15 shooting from the field over the last two games. But with this matchup comes the opportunity to get up a lot of shots, and frankly the Nets are going to need a big night from Kilpatrick if they're to entertain any thoughts of winning this game.
