With the passing of sports broadcaster Craig Sager Thursday afternoon, all ten teams playing Thursday night paid tribute to his memory. Players wore T-shirts that have been sold with a portion of the proceeds going to the SagerStrong Foundation, and moments of silence were held at four of the arenas. The one exception to that was Oracle Arena in Oakland, where the Golden State Warriors hosted the New York Knicks.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr called both teams to the middle of the court, and after addressing the crowd about his friend and colleague he asked the crowd to join him in a “moment of joy.”

Both Kerr and Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek wore Craig Sager-inspired ties for the game, and multiple players on both teams warmed up in the aforementioned T-shirts.
