Former New York Jet and Baltimore Raven Konrad Reuland is being mourned by the woman who called him "the most amazing human in this world. Reuland's girlfriend was professional soccer player Jordan Roseboro, 25. She has been playing in Europe. On November 26, Roseboro tweeted
"Next Friday can't come soon enough @konrad_reuland." Two days later, Reuland suffered a brain aneurysm.
Reuland's death was announced on December 12. He was 29 years old. Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh said during a press conference, "We lost a Raven today. I just want to offer condolences to his family. We love Konrad Reuland. Every single guy in the locker room loves him."
Roseboro played soccer professionally for the Western New York Flash and most recently for BIIK-Kazygurt in Kazakhstan. On her LinkedIn page, Roseboro says she left the team in October 2015. Although tweets from her official Twitter indicate she is still playing in Kazakhstan.
Along with teammate Remi Gebba, the pair are the first two Americans to play professional sports in the country. Roseboro told Tribal Football that she struggled with the language, food and medicine in the country upon her move.
