Rams vs. Seahawks Prediction

If there was one thing Jeff Fisher was able to do during his uninspiring tenure with the Rams, it was beat the Seahawks. During Fisher’s reign (2012-2016), in which the Rams never finished a season above .500, they managed to go 5-4 against one of the league’s most dominant teams, including four victories in the last five matchups.

Los Angeles’ recent dominance over Seattle, though seemingly inexplicable, has had a lot to do with an advantage in the trenches, where Aaron Donald and the Rams’ stout defensive line has given Seattle’s shaky O-line major fits.

The Rams will again have the advantage on the interior, but that’s the only advantage they’ll have.

Seattle is 6-0 at CenturyLink Field this year with an average margin of victory of 12.17 points. They’ve scored 32 points per game in their last five at home, and on defense, they should feast against a Rams team that ranks last in offensive yards per play, last in points per game, last in Football Outsiders’ offensive efficiency rankings and 27th in turnovers.

Ultimately, allyou really need to know here: Struggling rookie Jared Goff is on a short week in one of the most difficult stadiums to play against one of the most difficult defenses to play.

This one could get ugly.

Prediction: Seahawks 31, Rams 9
