The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks don’t have the richest traditions in NFL history, but the rivalry has certainly intensified recently as they’ve become two of the better teams in the league.

Atlanta, who played its first season in 1966, hosts Seattle (1976) in an NFC Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday, January 14, at 4:35 p.m. Eastern. The game will be televised on FOX.

The NFC foes have played each other just 16 times overall, including in Week 6 earlier this year, a 26-24 home victory by the Seahawks. They’ve met once in the postseason, a 30-28 Falcons win during the 2012-13 NFC Divisional Playoffs.

After Saturday, one of them is headed to the NFC Championship Game with a berth to Super Bowl LI on the line.
