NFL Mock Draft 2017: Deshaun Watson & Mike Williams Are in Top 5

While there is debate whether Deshaun Watson will be the first player taken in the 2017 NFL Draft, there is no doubt he is the most recognizable player in the upcoming draft. Watson has been a big part of the success at Clemson leading the Tigers to two straight championship games. There are plenty of flaws in Watson's game including his 17 interceptions this season. Watson has played his best games on the biggest stage. In the 2016 championship game against Alabama, Watson was 30-of-47 for 405 yards, 4 touchdowns and an interception. He added 73 yards rushing against a defense that was considered the best in the nation. In 2017, Watson has the opportunity to do the same against what many consider to be the best defense Nick Saban has had at Alabama. Another lights out performance could cause several teams to be willing to overlook his flaws for his potential. Watson has competition at quarterback with Mitch Trubisky officially declaring for the draft. Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer is also thought to be one of the best quarterbacks of this draft class. Alabama's defense has plenty of defensive prospects that will be on display against Clemson. Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster and Tim Williams are just a few of the notable players on a defensive unit full of NFL talent.
