The Houston Texans are huge underdogs against the New England Patriots in an AFC Divisional round game January 14. Prior to kickoff, the odds favored New England by 15.5 points. Judging by the odds, Houston can use all the help it can against the Patriots. However, the team will be without safety Quintin Demps, who is out with an injured hamstring that he suffered in the Texans’ win against the Oakland Raiders on January 7.

The Texans announced the full list of players who are on the inactive list for the game prior to kickoff.

Demps, a veteran in Houston’s secondary, was second in the NFL with a career-high 6 interceptions, leading all safeties in the NFL. Earlier in the season, he earned the title of the AFC Defensive Player of the month with 4 interceptions and 22 tackles.

In addition to Demps, the Texans will be without backup quarterback Brandon Weeden, linebackers John Simon and Max Bullough, offensive guard Josh Walker, defensive end Ufomba Kamalu and wide receiver Wendall Williams.
