The Premier League season is making its way through winter, with the results playing a large role come spring.
Liverpool have yet to win a Premier League match in 2017, but host Tottenham in Saturday’s finale. Spurs haven’t won away at any of the top six clubs this season, and boss Mauricio Pochettino has never beaten Liverpool in his career.
Spurs are second in the table, but still nine points behind leaders Chelsea. The Blues are at Burnley on Sunday, a team they beat 3-0 earlier this season. The club with the most to gain is United, who could crack the top four for the first time since September with a win over Watford. The Hornets have climbed all the way to tenth after two straight victories, but head to Old Trafford on Saturday having never beaten Manchester United in club history.
At the bottom, Hull City have seven points in their last four fixtures and are pushing to escape relegation. That’s bad news for defending champions Leicester City, who have won just twice since October are just one point above the drop.
