Lonzo Ball surrounds himself with athletes. Not only are his two high school brothers slated to play basketball at UCLA, Ball’s girlfriend, Denise Garcia, is a soccer player at UC Riverside.
Ball’s high school sweetheart is a two and a half hour drive east of the UCLA campus. The couple both attended Chino Hills High School.
According to UC Riverside, Garcia was a four-year starter and team captain from 2012-14 at Chino Hills. According to her UC Riverside bio, it is college football not basketball that is her passion when she is not studying to be an anesthetist. Something tells us she makes time to catch Ball’s UCLA games.

Ball and Garcia frequently take to Twitter and Instagram to post photos of the happy couple. On Valentine’s Day, Ball posted a photo of Garcia with the caption: “Doesn’t get better than this #myvalentine ❤”.
Garcia spent her freshman year at Seattle University.
While nothing is official, all signs point to Ball entering the 2017 NBA Draft. Heavy has Ball as the top pick in our latest mock draft. Ball is likely battling Markelle Fultz for the top selection and is expected to go no lower than two.
Ball is averaging 14.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists during the 2016-17 season. His court vision and ability to get his teammates involved have some comparing him to Jason Kidd.
