The Mavericks rank 23rd in offensive rating and 26th in the NBA in bench scoring. Not only is Monk arguably the best player remaining on the board, but his ability to score in bunches could immediately improve one of Dallas' biggest weaknesses, especially if he plays an instant-offense, sixth-man role.
