World Baseball Classic 2017: United States Schedule

The United States is seeking its first-ever World Baseball Classic championship.

Team USA are the favorites in the 2017 World Baseball Classic along with the defending-champions, the Dominican Republic. But the nation’s road to the gold definitely won’t be easy, as there the most nations ever — 16 — are participating in the tournament, which takes place beginning March 6 and lasts until March 22.

The U.S. is in Pool C, arguably the toughest in the event. It includes Canada, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Here’s a look at the full schedule for the United States in the opening round.

United States Full First Round Schedule

All first-round games in Pool C take place at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida.

The top-two finishers in each pool will move on to the Second Round of games, which take place between March 14-19 for Pool C. The winners and runners-up in Pool C and D will play each other in San Diego, California.
