The Golden State Warriors — after decisively taking care of the San Antonio Spurs in the first three games of the Western Conference Finals — are now just one win away from going to their straight NBA Finals.

According to OddsShark, the Warriors are favored by 11 points over the Spurs in Game 4. The over-under is set at 217.5 points.

San Antonio will be without their MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard for a third straight game. He suffered a sprained left ankle in the third quarter of Game 1, with his team ahead at the time 78-55. Golden State would go on to win 113-111 to set the early tone for the series.

The OddsShark computer likes the Warriors to win their 12th straight postseason game and take down the Spurs in Game 4, projecting a 116.4-102.6 Golden State victory. The computer is picking the Warriors to cover the spread and is taking the over on the point total.

The Spurs won two out of three regular season matchups against the Warriors and is 2-4 against the spread in their last six games overall. The point total has gone OVER in each of their past five home games.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games on the road, and the point total has gone OVER in six of their last seven road games.

While one would think I would learn my lesson from last night’s debacle in Cleveland, in which I gave the Celtics 17 points and yet I still took the Cavs, I still feel relatively comfortable giving San Antonio those 11 points at home and choosing the Warriors.

Fool me once, shame on… you get it.

Let’s also stick with the trend line of the point total going OVER in games played at San Antonio.

Heavy’s Pick: Warriors 117 -11, Spurs 102. Over on the Point Total.
