The Dunk King Contestants 2017: Meet the Best Dunkers

No. 1 Jordan Kilganon

Height/Weight: 6'3"/180 pounds

Vertical: 46"

Bio: Kilganon has had internet popularity for years, but introduced himself to NBA fans during the 2016 All-Star Weekend. Kilganon completed his signature Scorpion Dunk during one of the timeouts of the All-Star game. What made the dunk even more impressive is Kilganon pulled off the dunk in jeans. Kilganon is known as one of the most creative dunkers in the world and has put all his full-time energies into dunking. The Canadian dunker spoke with Rolling Stone about all the dunks he has created. "Creating's always been a part of me. I went to school for industrial design which is synonymous with being an inventor. I've always loved inventing stuff. I don't care to do dunks that other people have done. I like to be the first; to do something nobody's ever done before. So I've invented 80, maybe 90 dunks now. Nobody's even close to that number. A lot of times I go to a lower, maybe 8-foot rim, so I can really get crazy with ideas, but then I have to see if I can do it on ten feet. A lot of people will get a dunk idea and just say that's too crazy. I don't think that," Kilganon told Rolling Stone. His brother Chase is also a contestant on Dunk King 2017.
