Fans did not have to wait long for excitement in the Champions League Final between Juventus and Real Madrid. Ronaldo got things started with an early goal for Real Madrid as he found the corner of the net.

Juventus responded with the best goal of the tournament at the 26′ mark. Mario Mandzukic caught a pass off his chest then kicked the ball over his head to find the back of the net. The ball had just enough height to be out of reach for Real Madrid’s keeper.
The match started off with the appearance of an instant classic. The two clubs would head to the half tied 1-1. Real Madrid opened things up in the second half by scoring two goals between the 60′-64′ mark. Ronaldo gave Real Madrid a lot of comfort by scoring his second goal to put them up 3-1.
The match pitted two teams with opposing styles against each other. Real Madrid has the ability to score numerous goals in a short time-span while Juventus has more of a defensive style to their squad.
Juventus reached the final thanks to defeating Monaco in both legs of the semi-final matchup. They opened up with a 2-0 victory and finished it off by winning the second match 2-0.
The club defeated Barcelona in the quarter-finals. Juventus won the opening match 3-0 while the second leg ended in a 0-0 tie. Juventus advanced on aggregate goals.
Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid in their semi-final matchup to advance to the championship. Real Madrid won the opening match 3-0 but lost the second leg 1-2. Real Madrid still advanced based on aggregate goals.
Ronaldo and company also made short work of Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. Real Madrid started out with a 2-1 victory over Bayern then won the second match 4-2.
