Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn: Date, Fight Time & Full Card

Manny Pacquiao will put his WBO World welterweight title on the line Sunday afternoon in Brisbane, Australia, as he takes on home-town favorite Jeff Horn at Suncorp Stadium.

While it’s an early-afternoon start time in Australia, the time difference makes it primetime over in the United States, where the main card will be broadcast at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. Even as the 38-year-old’s career winds down, Pac-Man remains a massive star, and it will be a little odd to see him on broadcast television. His last non-PPV fight came in September of 2005, when he TKO’d Hector Velazquez at the Staples Center.

Still, don’t let that fool you into thinking the former eight-division world champ doesn’t have anything left in the tank. Following his loss to Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao reeled off a couple of impressive wins in 2016, defeating Timothy Bradley and Jessie Vargas via unanimous decision. He enters this one as a significant favorite against Horn, who is 16-0-1 and has won his last three via stoppage but has yet to fight anyone near the quality of Pacquiao.

Throw in an IBF World super flyweight title defense for rising Filipino star Jerwin Ancajas, as well as a WBO International light heavyweight title fight between Umar Salamov and Damien Hooper, and this should be an entertaining event.
