SEC Media Days 2017: Schedule, Dates, TV Channel & Times

Getty There is no shortage of hype around Alabama heading into the 2017 season.

The SEC kicks off a plethora of college football media days, which signals the season is just around the corner. SEC Media Days is a four-day event stretching from July 10 to July 14. The SEC Network will have live coverage throughout the event.

One of the key stories will be the recent disparity between Alabama and the rest of the SEC. As conferences like the Big Ten and ACC have improved, there is pressure on other teams in the conference to emerge as legitimate title contenders.

While it remains to be seen whether teams like Auburn, LSU and Georgia can take a step forward this season, Alabama is expected to be back in contention after their narrow loss in last season’s national championship. Quarterback Jalen Hurts returns after his true freshman season. Hurts is just 18 years old, and has already played in a title game. The Crimson Tide head into the season first in our preseason power rankings.

There is plenty of intrigue over the Crimson Tide’s in-state rival, Auburn. The Tigers could receive a boost from Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham, who is expected to be the starting quarterback for Auburn.

Here’s a look at the 2017 SEC Media Days schedule. The players listed are courtesy of SB Nation.
