Winner: Charlotte by disqualification…

Highlights: Both ladies went hold for hold and strike for strike once the bell rang. Charlotte almost locked in the Figure Four Leglock at one point, but Natalya quickly saved herself. Charlotte then angered the champ with constant taunting and counters, which forced Natalya to begin beating down Charlotte’s leg. Natalya did her best to use submissions and repeated boots to weaken Charlotte’s injured leg. Natalya almost got her leg offense stopped when Charlotte got back to her feet, but Natalya stayed on top of the challenger by landing a Discus Clothesline. Natalya looked to remain in control, but Charlotte finally got her adrenaline going by landing a series of chops on the champ. Charlotte looked to then come off the top rope onto Natalya with a Moonsault, but Natalya took her from the top and dropped her to the mat with a Sitdown Powerbomb.

Natalya went to land another Discus Clothesline afterwards, but Charlotte fought through the pain of her injured leg and countered with a big boot. On the outside, both women fought hard to regain control. Natalya won the battle by shoving Charlotte’s bad leg into the steel steps. Back inside the ring, Natalya finally locked Charlotte into the Sharpshooter. Charlotte looked as if tapping was next on her agenda, but she chose to flip Natalya over her into the ring pad. Natalya soon found herself shoved to the outside and then planted by a Moonsault from Charlotte. Sadly, the match got thrown out as soon as Natalya used a steel chair to wear out Charlotte’s injured leg…

(Tag Team Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)

WWE HIAC 2017

Winners: And the NEW SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos!

Highlights: The New Day made sure to big themselves up and taunt their opponents for the evening. Big E decided to ditch his happy, go lucky nature and throw some biblical disses at The Usos’ way. Xavier and Big E decided to represent their team while Kofi watched on the outside. Both teams immediately retrieved some weapons from underneath the ring to start the match’s proceedings. The weapons eventually fell to the mat once all four men tore into each other. Woods used a Roaring Elbow on Jimmy, then used a steel chain assisted fist drop (with come hang time assistance from Big E) to smash that same twin in the face. Big E tried to spear Jey while he was on the ring apron, but he missed and slammed right into the cell. Woods then went airborne on Jey, but Jimmy came right over the top rope onto him as well. When Big E recovered, he finally landed his big Spear on Jey into the cell.

Back in the ring, Woods used two of his trusty trombones, a gong and even a cowbell to beat Jey down. Woods and Big E looked to land their finisher, but Jimmy threw a steel chair right into Woods’ face. Big E then got laid out by a Superkick from Jey. Jimmy and Jey soon recovered and used Kendo Sticks to lay into Big E repeatedly with vicious strikes. When The Usos’ went to the outside, they tortured Woods by stuffing a Kendo Stick into his face and feeding him a running rear end strike to him right into the cage. Back inside the ring, The Usos found themselves taken down by a few Big E moves. Jimmy almost got more Big E offense fed to him, but he used a Superkick to save himself. Jimmy went to land something else afterwards, but he ran right into a tag team maneuver from Big E and Woods. The Midnight Hour finally landed on Jimmy, but Jey saved his brother from the following pin.

The action returned to the outside and saw Woods using a multicolored Kendo Stick on Jey. Jey ended up getting trapped behind four of them while Woods struck him over and over. Afterwards, Woods and Big E focused their attention on Jimmy. Jey managed to free himself from Kendo Stick captivity, save his brother and Superkick Woods. Big E ended up on Jey’s arms, which led to Jimmy noticing and then landing a big Suicide Dive to him right into the cell. Once Big E got rolled back into the ring, he was smashed into the mat with two big top rope splashes from The Usos. Somehow, he still managed to kick out of the following pin attempt. The Usos reverted to some extra sinister means by using handcuffs to lock up Woods and Big E. Woods got fed several Kendo Stick shots while he was stuck to the ring post. Big E got himself free from the handcuffs and started going to town on Jimmy and Jey. Big E put Jey on his shoulder and shoved him into the cell twice (on the second time, he shoved him right into Jimmy).

Big E ended up landing his Big Ending on Jey inside the ring, but Jimmy ran into save him from being pinned. Big E ended up locking in a Stretch Muffler on Jimmy, but Jey fed him a Superkick to break the submission. Big E then got smashed by a double top rope splash and looked like he was on the verge of defeat. But Woods came in at the last second to save his man. Woods got destroyed by several Kendo Stick strikes, but he got revved up to the point where he shook some of them off and began assaulting the twins with a headbutt and punches. But in the end, Woods got smashed with a double top rope splash while a steel chair was placed atop his prone body.
