The sometimes-controversial antics of Oklahoma senior quarterback Baker Mayfield were on full display Saturday. During the third quarter of a game against Kansas, Mayfield threw his third touchdown pass and immediately taunted the opposing team and its fans.

Once he got to the sideline, he continued taunting the Jayhawks players. He immediately turned his attention to the sideline across the field, appearing to yell profanities as he grabbed his crotch and motioned at the Jayhawks.

That wasn’t it, either. After the crotch grab, Mayfield turned to some Kansas fans in the stands and appeared to tell them to “stick to basketball.”

The game was being televised to a national audience on ESPN, and it remains to be seen if there will be any sort of punishment for the taunts. The No. 4 Sooners were up 28-3 in the game, and Mayfield was having another stellar outing. He was 19-for-28 for 242 yards and the 3 touchdown passes at the time and finished with 257 yards. Oklahoma ended up winning, 41-3.

Mayfield apologized for the inappropriate gestures after the game.

Earlier this season, Mayfield was involved in another controversial incident after leading Oklahoma to a 31-16 victory against Ohio State. After the game, he ran over to the Oklahoma band with his teammates and celebrated the win. While doing so, he was handed an Oklahoma school flag, which he waved to cheers from fans who made the trip to Columbus. Mayfield sprinted around the sideline at the Horseshoe with it and eventually made his way to the center of the field.

Surrounded by his teammates, Mayfield moved to the OSU logo, waving the flag before abruptly planting it directly into the ground.

All season long, he’s been among the top contenders to win the Heisman Trophy. According to OddsShark, Mayfield is the odds-on favorite to take home the trophy given to the best player in the NCAA. His current odds are at -2000, with the next-closest contenders being Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and UCLA running back Bryce Love — both at +1000.

Mayfield’s had quite the interesting collegiate career, which started in Texas. The Austin native was a three-star recruit out of Lake Travis High School and walked on at Texas Tech. He was named the starting quarterback as a true freshman and impressed in his first start. He was 43-for-60 for 413 yards and 4 touchdowns, breaking the school record for completions. He was named the Big 12 Conference’s Freshman Offensive Player of the Year after the season, but announced he was leaving because of a “miscommunication” with the coaching staff. He subsequently transferred to Oklahoma and later said during an interview with ESPN that he left Texas Tech due to being denied a scholarship. He walked on for the Sooners and wasn’t eligible to play until the 2015 season.

Mayfield was named the Sooners’ starting quarterback after winning a competition during the offseason and threw for 388 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first start in an Oklahoma jersey. He finished the season throwing for 3,700 yards with 36 touchdowns. In 2016, he continued to impress, throwing for 3,669 yards and 38 touchdowns. He hasn’t slowed down in his final season, already with 3,226 passing yards and 33 touchdowns.
