Caine, probably the coolest nine-year-old in America, built a full cardboard arcade in his dad’s auto parts store. You can even buy a secure “Fun Pass” to play all the games to try and win prizes. Finding out he was Caine’s only customer, Nirvan Mullick put the word out on the internet telling others about the arcade with heart-warming results.
America has the typical mall arcades, but they’re nothing compared to the arcades of Japan. 100 Yen is a documentary film that chronicles the evolution of Japan’s arcade culture and the fans who are constantly striving for the elusive perfect score.
