Update: Google Apps, Gmail Back Online

Are you having issues accessing Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and other Google Services this morning? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Google is experiencing a partial service outage which is making these services inaccessible for some users. The company says they are working on resolving the issues as fast as they can.

We’re not sure of the cause of the outage, but some users are receiving the following message when they try to login:

Sorry, there seems to be a problem. The service you’re looking for is temporarily unavailable. We’re working hard to restore your access as soon as possible. Please try again in a few hours. Thanks for your patience.

According to the Next Web, the problem started with the Admin control panel API at 8:20 am PT, 40 minutes later Google Mail and Google Drive went down. Google Documents went down at 9:11am, and Google Spreadsheets and Presentations went out around 9:12am.

Google says the issue is affecting a “significant subset of users,” or about 0.0007% of its Google Mail user base.

According to a number of Twitter users, Gmail is down and not working:

“Our team is continuing to investigate this issue,” Google said on its App Status Dashboard. “Thank you for your patience.”

Update: Google users should be able to access their apps, files, and e-mail. A service disruption earlier today took down Gmail, Google Apps and Google Drive. According to Google’s Apps Status Dashboard page users should have access to all three services. Google status page hasn’t revealed what caused the service disruptions.
