Could HTC have staked their claim in the smartphone wars this fall? These images are supposedly the next HTC phone dubbed “HTC One Max.” Leaked online by Taiwanese tech website Eprice.

Once known by its codename as the T6, these images show that HTC could be preparing another extra large phone like its competitors. If these are legitimate images, they match up with previously rumored specs.
Adding to the “phablet” trend, the HTC One Max could run on Android 4.3 and HTC’s Sense 5.5 UI. Other internal components include a 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 giving the HTC One Max some impressive battery power.
The HTC One Max could have an ultrapixel camera which means the large holes seen above is set for a big camera lense (EPrice)
The HTC One Max is rumored to launch in September to counter Samsung’s newest smartphone being announced next week.
