WATCH: Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 Live-Stream Event HERE at 1 p.m. EDT

Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 starts today at 1 p.m. EDT and you can watch the entire event here LIVE announcing the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone as well as the Galaxy Gear smart-watch.

The presentation will take place during the IFA Technology Conference in Berlin, Germany.

Smart-watches are becoming the latest trend in wearable tech and Samsung is hoping to beat its competitors to the punch by presenting its own gadget first. Pictures of a prototype leaked over the weekend implying this will be a smartphone companion instead of a replacement.

With the Galaxy Note 3, size does matter as the “phablet” is projected to be twice the size as its predecessor. The Galaxy Note could run on Android 4.3 as well as have a 4k camera.
