Just in time for the New Year, the founders of popular dating app MeetMe, have launched a new dating app called Choosy for Android. Choosy gives users the opportunity to show off their personalities by asking simple icebreaker questions.

Choosy is easy to use. Simply login into the app with your Facebook account, and you will be asked to pick a question that you want other singles to answer. You can choose from questions like:

Ketchup or mustard? What kind of things really make you laugh? What’s the most played song on your iPod?

Or you can create your own personal questions. Once you’ve selected your question, start answering other questions and you will get matched up.

The app finds others by using your geographic location. Use simple swipe gestures to browse through matches. Once you find someone you’re interested in, click on answer and start answering the other users’ questions.

If you’ve gone through all your matches you can expand your search by clicking on Expand preference.

Catherine Cook the co-founder of MeetMe says, “Choosy’s mission is to facilitate and deepen connections among people. As an avid user of people discovery apps, I know too well just how many low quality messages you receive. Choosy provides a useful filter. Only people who answer your question ‘right’ can message you – and now you have something to talk about.”

Back in October, the company launched Charm, which competes with dating apps like Tinder and At First Sight. You can download Choosy dating app for Android from the Google Play Store here.
