WATCH: Funny Facebook for Oculus Rift Commercial

In the fake (but funny) commercial above, tech commentator Tom Scott satirizes the future of Facebook and Oculus Rift’s recent partnership.

In the video, Scott jokes that Facebook will track your conversations and eye motions for advertising purposes when you use Oculus VR.

The video also pokes fun at Facebook’s decision to spend $2 billion on a VR headset company. Additionally, the video jokes that the Oculus Rift will let Facebook users play Farmville “like you are actually working on a farm.”

What do you think of this funny video? Is it clever, or is it a little too plausible that Facebook would use the Oculus Rift this way?
