    The app lets you see what happened where, when, and to whom on this important day in history. This app acts as a great educational tool, but will also appeal to adults who are fascinated by this era in history.

  • May cost more than some people are willing to pay
  • Does not yet have a “power nap” mode (this is forthcoming)
  • Sheer amount of data may overwhelm some
  • Requires iOS 7.0 or later

    If you’re looking for an educational app for children, this is worth considering for a number of reasons. It is good for young children, but it has also been designed to appeal to kids learning English as a second language, kids with learning delays or disabilities, and kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This app is brand new for the month of June.

  • UI is simple, but lacks display customization features that some users might enjoy
  • Could benefit from additional content
  • Not universal

  • Huge number of languages are supported, but more could stand to be added
  • Could benefit from additional player features
  • This app uses the API of SoundCloud and respects their policy, only songs available for download can be downloaded (So if you expect this app to circumvent SoundCloud in some way, this app won’t fit the bill.)
