WATCH: Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 Livestream

Check out the video above to watch Samsung’s livestream event. The Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 Livestream event is streaming live from New York City, starting at 7 p.m. local time.

Samsung is keeping mum about exactly what will be unveiled at this event, but two new Samsung Galaxy Tabs are expected to debut. Additional products may also be unveiled, but nobody but Samsung knows for sure. The use of the hashtags #TabIntoColor and #TheNextGALAXY by the Samsung Twitter account seems to suggest that colorful tablets are going to be the central feature of the event.

PC Advisor notes that the new line of Galaxy Tabs have some impressive specs and features:

“Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S is expected to come in two sizes, the first with a screen that measures 8.5in diagonally, and the second with a 10.5in screen. Both will have high-resolution Super AMOLED displays, according to reports. The current rumours about the resolution of the 10.5in model suggest that it will have a 2560 x 1600 resolution, which is 287 ppi. It’s also closely matched with the Samsung Galaxy TabPro 10.1, which sports the same resolution.

Borrowing some features from its smartphone sibling, the Galaxy Tab S models are rumoured to have the fingerprint sensors introduced with the Galaxy S5 in February. “

PC Advisor also notes that at last year’s “Premiere” event, a variety of products were launched. They included the Samsung Ativ Q tablet-laptop hybrid and the Ativ Tab 3.
