Watch these insane drop test videos featuring a variety of Android smartphones and iPhone models. These torture tests have to be seen to be believed.
1. Drop Test: Galaxy Note 3 vs iPhone 5s
The creators of this video note that the Galaxy Note 3’s performance was surprisingly good, especially given the fact that a similar drop test for the Note 2 was pretty much a disaster. Check out the video above to see if the Note 3 was able to beat the iPhone 5s.
2. Boiling a Samsung S4 Active
Drop tests are fun, but extreme torture tests are even better. In the video above, a Samsung S4 Active gets boiled! The video also includes footage of a computer getting run over by a bus, and an iPad Mini getting frozen.
3. Amazon Fire Phone Drop Test
Amazon’s Fire Phone has gotten mixed reviews since its launch. One aspect of the phone that could be improved is the case integrity. Check out the video above to see how badly the Fire Phone does during a drop test.
4. HTC One M8 Scratch & Hammer Test
The HTC One (M8) has won tons of critical acclaim. That being said, it’s pretty rare that a smartphone can totally stand up to knives and a hammer. If the phone can survive this, chances are it will do okay when you drop it, too.
5. Sony Xperia Z2 Drop Test
