What Time Is BlackBerry’s Event?: How to Watch It Live

BlackBerry is unveiling their new Passport phone at an event on September 24. You can watch this event starting at 9 Eastern on September 24 in the embed above. The company is holding events in Toronto, London and Dubai, but the livestream above will come from the Toronto BlackBerry event.

If you have any issues with the embed above, head on over to BlackBerry’s livestream event page. Here’s a guide on how to watch this hotly anticipated event, and what to expect from BlackBerry.

Still waiting for the livestream to start? Check out the official BlackBerry video above to see an unboxing of the ultra-exclusive, Porsche branded P’9983 smartphone from BlackBerry. This insane, souped-up BlackBerry costs $2,000, and boasts 64GB of storage.

The September 24 event won’t feature this Porsche phone, but it will feature the BlackBerry Passport, an ultra-wide BlackBerry designed to appeal to writers, medical professionals, and business types.

The event is also expected to reveal more information about BlackBerry Blend, the new service that will let you screencast your BlackBerry’s data to a tablet or computer. BlackBerry Blend is expected to work on devices running BlackBerry 10.3 OS or later.

If you want to see the livestream in full screen mode, head on over to BlackBerry’s livestream event page. The BlackBerry blog adds that there will also be extensive coverage on Inside BlackBerry. You can also join in the discussion on Twitter using the hashtag #BlackBerryPassport.
