Buying your first selfie stick, and not sure how much use you’ll get out of your new toy? You might want to buy a relatively inexpensive stick at first, and then upgrade to a more premium option if you feel the need. This selfie stick extends between 9.5 inches and 44 inches. This selfie stick can also be used with other cameras, besides the GoPro line.

Do note that this selfie stick is marketed as water-resistant, not waterproof. Some users have experienced rusting, likely due to overexposure to water or improper storage in humid conditions. This is a selfie stick that can tolerate light rain or a few splashes of water, but not much more than that. For longevity reasons, avoid submerging this selfie stick in water, and ensure that you dry it thoroughly after it gets wet. This would be a good selfie stick for hiking, or other relatively dry sporting pursuits. It may not be ideal for use in boats, or use under water. However, it is one of the cheapest water-resistant selfie stick options out there. For people on a budget, or those who are new to selfie sticks, this is a good introductory monopod.

Mine rusted. Also it does not drain properly. This is a land unit only. I’m going with GoPole or GoRad.
