C’mon Zuckerberg, get it together. Facebook was down for users as of 12:30 p.m. Eastern time. It’s down worldwide. There has been no reason given for the outage. The mobile app wasn’t affected. In total, the social media site was down for about 20 minutes.
As a Buzzfeed tweet pointed out, the copyright on the message announcing Facebook is down, is copyrighted 2014.
We’re working to get more information on the downing of the good ship Facebook.
What is clear, is that the outage came on the same day that Facebook’s offspring Instagram passed Twitter in terms of users to become the world’s second most popular social media network.
