Looks like Gerard Butler misses the 300 days of being the most ripped dude in Hollywood. His upcoming movie Coriolanus is a modernization of the Shakespeare play with Butler playing Tullus Aufidius who is the commander of the Volscian army. And he definitely took some time to get ripped before playing the part:
Ironically, Butler’s passion for acting on the big screen came about when he auditioned for a stage performance of Coriolanus a while back. After his talent was discovered, he landed roles in Phantom of the Opera and eventually 300. Now, he’s one of the biggest names in the business.
Ralph Fiennes is directing the film (his first role as a director) and stars as the lead as well. William Hurt also stars in the film.
