First Time Ever: UK Prime Minister to Appear on ‘The Late Show’

Making entertainment history, UK Prime Minister David Cameron will appear this Wednesday on “The Late Show With David Letterman”.

Traveling to New York to speak at the UN General Assembly, Deadline reports that Cameron is set to be the first sitting UK Prime Minister ever to appear on US late night television.

A number of news agencies such as The Times and The Guardian are calling the move a risky one given Letterman’s history of asking tricky and sometimes eyebrow-raising questions, yet Cameron views it as a great opportunity to help promote the UK economy and keep things rolling now that the 2012 Olympics have come to an end.

Be sure to tune in for this landmark occasion and see both Letterman and the PM in action!
