Life of Pi

The film adaptation to the novel by Yann Martel, “Life of Pi,” debuted in theaters Wednesday and is reaping many positive reviews for the film’s visual effects, comparing it to “Avatar.” Ang Lee, director of the film who also directed “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Drangon” and “Brokeback Mountain,” brings alive the story of a young Indian boy who is marooned at sea on a tiny life boat with a vicious Tiger with stunning digital 3-D technology.

Just by watching the trailer, you can already see the array of colors that will be present throughout the film and how real the CGI tiger looks.
