She’s the Aussie next door who you want to spy on while she’s catching rays out back. Kym Johnson of Dancing With The Stars is sexy, sweet, and full of life. Fortunately, I was able to chat with her this past week on her way to rehearsal with partner Ingo Rademacher. Kym gushed about her loves, her co-stars, and everything under the sun. I know her sexy photos are a bit distracting, but hopefully you’re able to focus on some of our dialogue and the low-down on Kym in between some of the steamy shots.
1. Kym Can Kick Your Ass.

Don’t let that sweet smile and delicious Aussie accent fool you. Kym has a side-kick that you shouldn’t mess with. Exhibit A is above. I guess Ingo missed a few steps that day. Girl Power, Baby!
Kym laughs, “We’re doing some funny photos this season and we’re having a really good time!”
2. She’s a Jerry Springer Addict.
Kym’s favorite partner on Dancing With The Stars was… Jerry Springer?! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!… I’m sure Kym’s heard that one before, but believe it or not, her celebrity fave is Jerry Springer.
She told me, “Jerry Springer was my all-time favorite. I just loved him and he was just the nicest man. We had a lot of fun together. It was my first season in the states, so it was a very special season to me. I just love him. He’s a great guy.”
But, what’s Kym’s favorite part of Dancing With The Stars as a whole?… The clothes.

Kym confesses, “I’ve never been to Prom, so it was really fun.”
3. The Love of Kym’s Life is a Girl.
Her name was Lola. She was a… dog… and she WAS actually named after Barry Manilow’s Copacabana song subject – Lola the showgirl. A gift from her mother, this little bichon frise-Pomeranian mix is Kym’s love.
4. Kym Wants Penn Jillette to Win the Celebrity Apprentice.
I think Miss Kym may be a little biased since Penn was her dance partner several seasons ago on DWTS. However, she is putting her money on Penn.
“Well, I danced with Penn Jillette, so I really want Penn to do well. He’s such a smart man and has the brains to really succeed. I think he’s great. He’s so clever!”
Penn isn’t the only one starring in the Celebrity Apprentice, though. Look for Kym on the Australian version coming out at the end of the month!
Kym described the experience to me as, “Oh my goodness. That was quite intense. I wanted to do it because it was out of my comfort zone. I was really nervous just because it was something different. I was working to raise money for my charity back in Australia. It was all for a good cause. It was so nice to actually work back home in Australia because normally I just go back to visit family or for holidays. I loved it. I had such a good time and made really great friends from doing the show.”
5. Kym Johnson is the Only Professional Dancer in the World to Win Trophies on Two Different Continents.
So, it seems Kym kicks ass in more ways than one. Winning two mirrorball trophies in the USA and one in Australia, Kym definitely takes the crown.
6. Kym Misses Maks!
As I’m sure many of you noticed, DWTS bad boy Maks Chmerkovskiy is absent from the Dancing With The Stars cast this season, much to the dismay of every female in America. I’m sure all the ladies are sharing in her pain. Kym previously told Life & Style Magazine, “One person I am going to miss this season is Maks Chmerkovskiy. But I’m sure he’s going to be around because Val is on the show, so I’m positive he’s going to be at the shows supporting his brother. Maks is a part of Dancing With the Stars and always will be.”
She sure is right as he makes a return for some fun on the floor!
7. Kym Was an Ingo Admirer Before The Show.
“I actually knew who he was from Australia. He used to be on an Australian Soap when I was younger. I didn’t know him from General Hospital, but then I put two and two together from when I used to watch him a long time ago,” Kym let me know.
Well, whether she knew of him before or not, she has nothing to say but good things about Ingo and what a nice guy he is, so hopefully we’ll see them together in the finals.
8. She Can Whip Your Butt Into Shape Real Quick.
Through BeFit, Kym dances her way to fitness and shows us how to tone up with Star Fit.
9. Kym Likes to Use Force on Her Men.

“Ingo comes up with a lot of those ideas, I have to say. Yeah, he’s kind of a goofball, so he’s always doing stuff like that,” says Kym.
10. She’s a Hostess With the Mostest.
Kym lets us know her ultimate passion and hopes for herself…
“Yeah, I’d love to get into hosting a little bit more. That’s really what I want to do. I love presenting and hosting. If something like that would come about, that would be amazing!”
