If you’ve been wondering why Lindsay Lohan has been out of the news lately, it’s because she’s been serving time in rehab at the Betty Ford Center. Now, TMZ reports that the troubled starlet has officially checked out of Betty Ford to spend time at a different center, the Cliffside rehab center in Malibu.
The gossip website says that the move was approved because Betty Ford is better suited for a 30-day program and Lindsay would be better suited to finish off her 90-day sentence at Cliffside. The 26-year-old actress checked out on Wednesday and is already at her new home for the next two months.
Lindsay was originally intent on getting out of Betty Ford because they took away her Adderall pills, but a source says it is doubtful that she will get them back at Cliffside.
Last March, Lindsay pleaded no contest to lying to police and reckless driving after a car accident in 2012. She accepted a plea deal that entailed 90 days in rehab, 30 days of community survice, a fine and 18 months of psychological counseling.
