Beloved NCIS star Cote de Pablo will make one last appearance on the show and then leave. Her contract has not been renewed causing heartbreak amongst fans and cast members. 1. Ziva David Will Leave CBS

Pablo’s character Ziva David has been a part of NCIS since 2005 and will now be leaving. According to Digital Spy, the actress will make her final appearance on the show in the 11th season’s opening installment. Pablo’s contract actually ended after last season, but she made a deal to return one last time in order to wrap up the storyline for her character.
I’ve had eight great years with NCIS and Ziva David. I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.
The season premiere is set to run September 24, 2013.

Many fans do not want to see the actress leave the show. In turn, some have been signing a petition to keep her character around. The petition was created by an Aussie fan named Tegan Kain and is titled ‘CBS Television Studios: Bring Cote de Pablo back to NCIS!’ Kain writes:
Ziva is a character that has inspired many girls and women to become the people they are today: to not give up through hardship, fight for their own happiness and find your family. She has taught values such as strength, resilience and courage. I know she has been a huge role model to me personally and it absolutely devastates me to see her character written off like this after such a long time.
