Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds hosted a special screening of their new moving, R.I.P.D., for the heroes of the Boston Bombing tragedy. The two co-stars met with police, firefighters, and MIT security officers and others who put themselves in danger following the attack.
According to Police Superintendent Daniel, the event was “a chance to relax, especially after everything everyone’s been through in the past few months.”
In the film Reynolds’ character, Detective Nick Walker, joins the R.I.P.D. after dying on the job. He is partnered with veteran Roy Pulispher (Jeff Bridges) to protect the living from the evil of the afterlife.
