After a long wait for the crowds outside the hospital, the Royal baby has emerged from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital with mother and father Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Minutes before the Royal appearance, hospital staff was allowed to come out so that they too could view this moment in history.
Much like Princess Diana did with her children, the baby was shown to the world on the same hospital steps as father Prince William.
The couple is wearing baby blue to celebrate their baby boy and has even crossed the street to answer questions from the media. Prince William said that the birth was a very emotional experience and that they’re still working on a name.

Just minutes after the appearance, Prince William came back out of the hospital with his baby in a car seat. He quickly made his way to the car and placed his son inside, while Kate smiled and took her place in the backseat. Prince William then drove his new family away.
