David O. Russell’s fantastic looking period piece about a con artist forced by the feds to rat out the New Jersey mob is getting a lot of buzz, with the trailer already having over 1 million hits in just 24 hours. The film has a cast with some of today’s strongest actors including Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawerence all sporting some classic disco hair and threads. While the trailer looks great, the key standout is the snippet of Christian Bale using a woman’s butt as a bongo drum, which the internet naturally made into a GIF. The movie opens on Christmas Day.
