The manager of Aston Villa, an English soccer club, Paul Lambert was asked a press conference about the death threats received by his player, reports The Daily Mirror, Gabriel Agbonlahor, from One Direction fans, Lambert said:

I don’t know if a threat from a teenage girl is much of a threat.

On September 8 during a charity soccer game in Glasgow, Scotland, Aston Villa professional soccer player Gabriel Agbonlahor put in a hard tackle on One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.

Tomlinson was seen vomiting at the side of the field after the tackle. Lambert went on to say there were no hard feelings between Agbonlahor and Tomlinson:

The lad was really nice and my kids got a picture with him, there was no animosity at all. All three of my daughters – and my son – spoke to him. I think my daughters Kira, Nicola and Victoria are fans.

The guy was really nice and Gabby gave him a pat on the head so there is no problem. Gabby went and spoke to him on the pitch.

Lambert though did say that Tomlinson was “out of his comfort zone,” saying:

You’re taking someone out of their comfort zone if they are a singer and putting them in a football environment. Footballers can naturally do this kind of thing.
